On December 8th, 2011, protestors with Take Back the Capitol walked right into Lindsey Graham's private fundraiser to make sure he wasn't just hearing the voices of the 1%. We told him our stories and made sure he listened.

@ziggyboi1995 I think they absolutely would if such a chance presented itself. Obama is not some saint on the so-called "Left" as your comment suggests. He is an establishment Democratic centrist, who sold a bunch of vacuous slogans to a naive populace (but in no way would I advocate for a republican government) In fact, I'm sure many of these protesters reject the Democratic establishment as well. It's not about the letter ahead of your name. Ultimately, it's what you do for the people.

@MrBigEnchilada Are you kidding me the Obama Administration and the Democrats have, even when they had a majority bent over backwards to work with the Republicans the Republicans want the Administration to fail outright, its unpatriotic. Sure Democrats would ruthlessly grill Bush's appointees, but if they were qualified they would nominated. Likewise when the Democrats held the Senate they did not obstruct everything.

@MrBigEnchilada No, the Democratic Party has gone to the right as well, in the past the Democrats were far, far more aggressive at pushing a more left wing agenda, like repealing Taft Hartley, constantly raising the minimum wage or pegging it to inflation and they worked hard so that the Federal Government served the poor, which is why they were consistently in power in Congress, when they stopped doing that, they lost.
