  • @000Idiote Thank You

  • beautiful tank man! quick question. where did you get your rock and what type is it? I have a 55 gallon also but donot want live rock, but cant seem to find good safe rock.

  • @chip58123 I get all my rock from myaquarium store its just slate rock I think petco even sells it

  • hey can i keep a saltwater tank with out a skimmer or wet and dry filter?

  • @vijomyda You dont have to have either one of those but its not a bad idea to have a skimmer. I personally never use skimmers but expect to do water changes a bit more frequently

  • How do you know if they are wild caught or captive bred, seriously if you dont like it then dont watch the video. You do have a choice ya know. No one forced you to watch it, and if it is working for him than its working for him. And I'm not the "dick" here, you are. Get a life. Commercial fishing is doing WAY more damage to reefs and the oceans than the aquarium trade could ever do.

  • wow, you are retarded! there is no set rule on which fish he can put... he has a predator tank with the exception of the powder blue... fowlr tanks can have a wide range of fish!

  • Hi, What type of substrate and filters do you use, how often do you change your water?

  • @ratom212

That's a hard question to answer, some people will say one inch of fish per 5 gallons, others will say one inch per 2 gallons, and others say one inch for one gallon.

For a 55 gallon tank, I would put about 35 inches of fish, and if each fish averages 4 inches, thats about 9 fish.

I have 11 african cichlids in a 50 gallon tank.

  • Beautiful tank man! I love the powder blue tang in there.

What does your filtration consist of? am in the process of putting together a 65 gal sw fish only tank, and I am planning on using an overflow box to a sump with live rock and a skimmer, then using a canister filter to pump the water back to the display tank.

You think this is a reasonable idea?

  • did you ever had a problem with the cowfish nibbling at the lionfish??? i have the cowfish so would be good too know , cheers

  • bad

  • hey great tank i recently got my 55 gallon going what filters do you have on your tank?

  • hey guys about im going to set up a 55 gallon tank, about how many fish can i put in it?

  • a tang in a 55 is a no no same for the lionfish they will outgrow it in about 6 months to a year
