  • It's polishing compound, a paste full of tiny abrasive particles that rub very fine scratches into the finish till it becomes smooth. Kind of like toothpaste.

  • ...then get a clean rag...and rub it some more ...lol ...serious elbow grease.

  • wow that's a beautiful finish, it gleams. so just sand it down to a fine grain clean it, lacquer it with a couple coats and put compound on it? pretty much the jist?
