Play your MPC/MPD like an Instrument! Jeremy Ellis presents MPC/MPD Lessons is here to help. Jeremy's mission is to share his knowledge of sampling, controlling samples with the drum pads, playing multiple rhythms, and live MPC/MPD performance techniques. He'll also be showing you ways of using Propellerheads Reason and Record to produce and perform, not to mention piano/keyboard tips and all around soulful ways to get down!

The MPC/MPD lessons start with the foundation of Afro-Cuban Rhythms. These will be applied to the fingers in ways a traditional drummer would assign them to individual limbs. This means that each hand will be responsible for playing multiple rhythms and sounds, allowing for recreation of a full drum set or eventually drums, bass and harmony performed with 16 pads! The applications for this kind of dexterity and multi-rhythmic are boundless.

Let's Get Down!
