@itpduder I agree, there are great power in suggestion, it is proven by experiments that a person will also go against his own mind and conviction even when knowing for sure that he is right just to fit in with the crowd that is doing wrong. I do however keep the possibility open that supernatural influences may also take hold of such preachers that pay to much attention to signs and miracles as evidence for their faith. Truth is, we do not know the source from where it comes.

@Mekelsior I sometimes wonder whether Hinn has some paid "ringers" to fall down or flop around or whatever just so others will see it and be persuaded to join in. The power of suggestion coupled with the power of wanting to fit in can be an overwhelming force.

@31guitar I think you shouldn't mistake people who are not sure and never thought about believing in God and people who studied evidence and are convinced atheists.

Wow, I'm shocked. Now, to all those who think believers are just brainwashed idiots, the show said these people were "de-converted" as well. The same techniques that made them believers can make them non-believers too.

Benny Hinn and these guys use hypnosis to sway the masses, this is a known fact. Hypnosis is much more than just suggestions, there is so much we do not know about it that we cannot prove or explain. The Christian faith explains what it is and that it is not safe to play with. True conversion however to God is much deeper than just emotions. It is based on reason and logic and observations. Interesting movie however it is thought provoking.
Yes, there's a lot of suggestion. The difference with religious leaders is that Derren Brown does not pretend otherwise. You should watch the analysis of his performance: watch?v=FHz4BA8zJZ8
