Is this collection from Jeff's side of the family? We have boxes of old cardboard and tin types photos. I love looking at them. The people posed so dignified and serious.
Have you ever seen a photo (19th century) where someone had posed with a smile on their face? I would love to get my hands on that one. Must be very rare.

Lisa, No when we got married in Maine we went to a few antique shops and found this album. Searched various ways to locate the descendants to no avail. So I am using YT as a vehicle to locate them. I have many of their tins as well and will be scanning them in for part 2 hopefully today.

Ahhhhh....Thanks Pops! How right you are. A "widdle" more relaxed.
It would be nice to find the descendants of these +/- 150 yr old pics and return them to the family. Such a remarkable family album.
