  • Aral Sea is SALTWATER, not freshwater.

  • ARAL sea can be largely restored if two useless and harmful leaks are closed, one in Uzbekistan (leakage from the Ferhad damon Syr Darya) and one in Turkmenistan (a leakage from Urgench canal). These two steal enormous amount of water from the two primary rivers that feed the Aral, and dump all that water into the desert lakes the size of Wales. The point is, no one cares over there. It would cost almost nothing to stop the leaks.... But as usual, WHO CARES among their dictators?

  • @sega31098 it was fresh water til the water shrinks causing the salinity to increase due to them not dissolving.

  • @milnoid If you know nothing about carbon trading and taxing carbon emissions you're either a young person with a lot to learn, or you are truly stupid. Feel free to have the last word, I've got better things to do than argue shit with gullible people.

  • @dariod2007 Who said anything about supporting a tax? Tax or no tax, humans will burn every last available drop of fossil fuels, no matter what the consequences. Even if the Europeans cut emissions, no one else will. I expect the consequences might be very bad indeed, but I do not pretend to have answers. Your answer is to lie, or believe lies, about the science. To believe that pumping trillions of tons of fossilised carbon into the atmosphere won't have climatic effects is sheer stupidity.

  • @milnoid friend... whoever you are wherever you are if you are swallowing this bullshit that humans are changing the atmosphere and it can be fixed by paying a tax like the stupid Australians are now doing are a gullible idiot with a lot to learn. Whatever happened to the ozone scare? Did you look into that scam? Funny how suddenly it's been forgotten. WAKE UP! I don't mean to insult you but people like you make it possible for the rest of us to be scammed and taxed to the max. Love you!

  • @dariod2007 Let's see: I believe that changing the chemical composition of the atmosphere in a virtual instant is very likely to have undesirable climatic effects. You, on the other hand, not only believe that this is false, but that the scientific community is engaged in a grand conspiracy to deceive, and that established state and corporate interests are just innocent, honest bystanders to the debate. Who is the idiot again? Lol.

  • @ShalomYal You're an idiot, truly an imbecile!

  • @milnoid your'e an idiot! Idiots like you will believe anything.

  • @hotboyclarence There may be "leaks" in the system - but most of the water is being diverted for agriculture and in particular for cotton - cotton is a water hungry crop - to grow it in the desert is nuts!!!!!
