Plot:
The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight, giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. This movie isn't that bad... I have seen much much worse. Some good gore stuff and a nice story.

The hatred for this movie reminds me of when Halloween 3 came out, only on a lesser scale. If this movie wasn't called REC it'd be considered a decent flick. The problem is way too many people went into it with expectations based on the first two films, and the tone of this one is completely different. I thought it was pretty good. But I understand the people who can't stand it.

The difference between this and the previous two (apart the camera style) is that this one is more "Hollywood" style. I mean come on, there is a scene in Rec 3 were the woman kills about 6 demons and in Rec 2, SWAT units barely survived one of those demons. Rec 1 and 2 were scary, creepy and a little realistic. This however is exactly the opposite. The only thing I liked was the ending. I hope they return to the previous style again..

Didn't make me cry. Through out the whole story the people had no emotions or personality. It was the girls wedding and she ends up killing a tone of her own guests without even feeling the slightest sad. Plus at the end wasn't she meant to be a zombie? Why did she try and reach for his arm when shes supposed to have no feelings or soul? Ah, I just watched it and laughed in shame. :')

Rec 1, was amazing

Rec 2, started to change it from a science malfunction to something more religious (but was still a good movie.)

Rec 3, Lets just change the whole story around and turn it into a comedy gore fest with no relevance to the other two movies and completely leave the ending of Rec 2 to the viewers. What a shame :(

Tbh this was also the case with Hostel 1 which was amazing, Hostel 2 which was ok and Hostel 3 which was just for the gore and laughs.
