'George Chapman's Hastings'

This is a little film for any of you Ripperologists out there that favour George Chapman (Severin Klosowski) as your prime candidate to have been Jack. In this film, I take you around the places in Hastings Old Town associated with Chapman.

See footage of where Chapman lived in 1896 and 1897, where he bought the Tartar Emetic poison he used to kill his wife (Mary Spink) and also the rough location of the couples Barber's Shop at Albion Mansions.

My personal interest in Jack The ripper revolves around James Maybrick so I will appologise in advance for any errors I may have made in commentary! HA HA

OK where to start?

1. You have the wrong chemist shop

2. You have the wrong house in Hill Street

3. Cobourg Place DOES exist, and Exmouth Place is NOT the new name for Cobourg Place

4. You don't know which shop he had in George Street.

So, out of the four locations you are revealing to us, three are plain wrong and the last is vague. So I shall have to come with you next time and show you the proper ones. Lots of love, Helena xxxx
