I remember this, I helped post flyers. She was taken just blocks from where I lived. Even all this time later I can still remember it so clearly. Such a tragedy for her family.

I was living in New Braunfels at the time. I was always looking around for her during my walk to and from school, taking different routes just to check the wooded areas. All the reported sightings of her alive, gave all of us in NB hope. I was only 13 at the time, but I remember being crushed when it was reported that she had been found deceased. For Heidi and her family's sake, I hope the police get that vital evidence they need to prosecute the scumbag(s) that did it.

I remember being 7 years old when this happened. I was scared to watch the news and hear about what happened to Heidi. 20 years went by so fast.

Wow! I was one of Heidis best friends... I am glad to see all of your comments.. she was a wonderful girl, I have so many great memories of her.... Thank you everyone for all your prayers, support and memories! She is still to this day and will always be carried in our hearts! I love you Heidi!

Today marks 19 years since Heidi has been gone. Its weird how one day you can have somebody with you, and then they're gone. Time goes by and the world never stops because of our loss. We won't forget Heidi.
