Logistics Must be Non-Linear: Wheeled Trucks Creamed in OIF

The U.S. Army's 3rd ID (M)'s "Thunder Run" into Baghdad almost got stranded without resupply due to our continued reliance on road-bound, wheeled trucks:

There is no excuse!

We can and we should have ARMORED, TRACKED resupply vehicles based on our trusty M113 Gavins that can move non-linearly, cross-country to sustain our tracked maneuver forces and empower them to use axises of advance that are unpredictable!

Many smart armies use tracked resupply...what's our excuse? What are we waiting for?
