merrimac291 - You are right. Thatcher's poll tax was defeated due to rioting. Unfortunately, the British have become apathetic morons, more concerned about the pristine shine of their cars, how successful their millionaire football team is, the lives of vacuous celebrities, and the result of X-Factor than the politics of the nation and Europe. After years of intellectual dumbing down the result is a population of shoulder shruggers. Now they are turning to the Tories. Hopeless!

Gather videos of the 10 best speakers you know of from Hitler, Churchill, Obama, William Hague, Scargill, John Kennedy, Thatcher, Galloway, Powell for example.
Study their videos with the sound off - watch the clarity for lip reading, hand & body gestures and facial movements & expressions.
Start to try to emulate them - then with sound on study the pauses, sentence constructions, repetitions and the brevity of sentences,
Enunciate with clarity - even slowly.

EUkip is currently seeking a new leader who is honest, competent, open and with political savvy - have you thought of applying?
Unfortunately it looks all too likely Pearson, who is not 'in touch' with members, will grudgingly take the role as Farage's 'front' to stand down after the General Election when he will hand on to the corrupt & dishonest Bannerman or back to Farage if he fails to get elected & join the Tories it seems.
