  • Dude whatever you are taking is not an antibiotic. Antibiotics = I.V, per os ,topically or as a suppository and as far as i know they are not administered intramuscularly . Correct me if i am wrong.

  • @PhysiologicAli there was rocefil 1g i think.. 3 years ago i can't remember .. but it was an antibiotic, 2x a day. one left one right .)

  • thanks scary. u perfectly explane the right method.

i took one and i was like ''FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ...''

at the hospital i thought it was going to be easy like the arm but its not

    god damn it -.-

  • It's called quicker=less painful

  • @BurningBrightly I totally agree with you. I wish that all people would understand this too.

  • @PhysiologicAli NP besides it can be it's different in your country. I mean protocols are different in every country. Just like cpr, in this country we still do 'artificial respiration' however I just learnt Japan doesn't do it anymore because they did some studies and didn't find it as effective as we thought. So perhaps it's the same with antibiotics. But yeah if you're from the pathology department, it's pretty natural you know more stuff about other areas than I do. We all work together :P

  • @BurningBrightly

Thanx 4 pointing this out:) Im kinda embarrassed since i am a physician ( Pathology resident) but hey!nobody knows everything. Peace.

  • @PhysiologicAli you're a bit wrong, there are enough antibiotics that are administered through I.M. for example: rocephin (ceftriaxon). Of course also an I.V. can be used, but it's not strange to use an I.M. for an ambulant person.

  • Butt shots hurt like hell! :O
