@valdesigns Another thing I find funny is when people say, "ThIs IZNT ACURITE AT ALLL!!!!11!!1!1" Like they knew what the Germs did better than Pat or Lorna. Fuck them, I liked the movie, it's more accurate than Sid and Nancy, and it's over all just a fun film with not that good acting, but not that bad either.

The only thing about the movie that made me cringe at this being more like an after school special on ABC or something, was the lack of representation of Nicole Panter. I dunno - maybe she wanted it that way, but it all smacks of a lot more inaccuracies to me.

@sylicone221 Casey didn't chicken out. The heroin just wasn't enough for her to OD. Some say that Darby supposably didn't give her a lot of heroin so that way she wouldn't die. Darby's death was labeled a suicide because it was. He wanted to kill himself. You should read Lexicon Devil, man. It's a really good book.

I think it's SOOOOOO funny reading all these comments from people (mostly kids or bitter old scenesters) that never knew Darby, never even MET Darby, never saw the original Germs live, etc. seem to know SOOOOOOOO well what Darby would have thought about this film. "Darby would have thought this... Darby would have said that..... Darby wouldn't approve..." hahahhahah TRUTH is... you don't know WHAT the fuck he would have said. None of us do Not even the band ...fucking morons.

Darby would probably laugh his ass off about the flick. typical hollywood fluff piece. Lexicon Devil will be a hell of alot better documentary on The Germs. Darby was the Germs, Shane west is an actor, he is acting like Darby, but he is not Darby, nor will he ever be Darby, The Germs died when Darby died. Rest in peace Darby, you were the greatest punk rocker that ever lived.
