AmigaOS 4.0 Presented at Gateway Amiga 2001 Show

Bill McEwen entertains the Gateway Amiga 2001 audience with an overview of AmigaOS 4.0, ready to ship in summer 2001 in desktop and server versions, together with AmigaOne hardware. Also featured: figures taken here and there, handheld market, AmigaOS 5, plans to merge AmigaDE, AmigaOS and Java into one system, several "great opportunities", and some Windows bashing.

That the open source version based on the N-1 of OpenGL, with is on the domain public...Why not simply use OpenGL? OpenGl is better then Mesa on graphic...

Anybody reading a computer magazine every now and then can say these things to try to impress people who don't know anything, or who wish these things to become true. He probably watches Steve Jobs launch videos as a hobby? But... there is no elegance, no engineering, no architecture in these words. Just a long wishlist of cool features that any child could write. And as time showed, there newer was even the slightest ability in putting things into practice.
