@connor42071 as the player walk on to the pitch a theme is played. for some clubs their song goes back generation to genertaion. while other clubs it's to create an atmosphere. for sunderland (my club) we use the first bit and then vary the second song. when the stadium is full and the fans are excited. the music played can give an electrical and is aimed to nerve the opposition players.

@TheSweetShop123 it's from the ballet "dance of knights". we started using it in 1997 and then the apprentice started using it. more than likely the show got it from the ballet
