  • This is nothing but old paranoid fears/masochisms that have existed since and even before the industrial revolution. There are vastly more people on the planet than 2 thousand years ago. Yet people are materially better off on aggregate ever generation. Why is that? Technology, more efficient use of current resources, and finding of new/different types of resources to use on average. If someone is actually interested I recommend these two videos watch?v=AcWkN4ngR2Y watch?v=WSWv3rX79sI

  • The main thing to be worried about is oil. A growing population means greater demnd for oil. And with oil beeing one of the reasons for pentagon having such a massive budget, and the united states being willing to spend that budget to secure an oil supply, is world safety and security not threatened by over population?

  • @dellownerman

=we need to tax people who breed more than those who choose not to breed.=

I know your comment is a year old, but WAY TO GO!

    You need the encouragement!

  • @studiorobo Amen!

Cut the balls off the man if he violates this law.

I have ZERO sympathy for the complaints of breeders, conservatives, and overpopulation deniers about problems brought on because of THEM.

  • mostly old people have power and they don't care

  • Should mandatory population control be a part of the fight against global warming? How about a part of our fight against the collapse of our civilization. If the problem isn't imminent, we as humans tend to ignore said problem till it's way too late too do anything about it. Don't have kids, adopt instead. Alas our genetic drive to reproduce will force us to the edge of extinction.

  • Bottom line is if you can't afford to feed yourself & your 6 kids, pick your favorite & eat the rest. End welfare, stop paying people to breed.

  • We can chose to manage our consumption now through population control or else exhaust resouirces and/or degrade environmental sustainabilty to where a tragic equalibrium will be established.

Knowing human nature and the infinite economic growth model of the fractional reserve system of banking, we will choose to ignor such management until it is too late.

Result? 4 to 5 billion will die from starvation or fighting over the remaining resources.

    The choice is yours humanity

  • Earths population problems can be solved VERY easily, just make a law that ALL people on earth have to follow, here it is: make every couple on the planet have ONE child, that way, every TWO people will turn into ONE, making the earths population decrease by HALF. 4 billion people to 2 billion in ONE GENERATION, and about twins, you will sadly have to give one up to an orphanage. That way people who can't have kids can keep one.

  • @sanitoshp that's why you indians are more poor than the entire population of africa and only getting worse!
