GO UNIONS!!!! My managers at work lied to me CONSTANTLY about how much time they could let me have off to look after my dying brother, who i was living with. The law in the UK clearly states the workplace have to allow me time to take part in his care but my employer bullshitted me at every possible opportunity to keep me sat at my desk instead of looking after a dying relative, scumbags!!! The only party that had my back and made sure I could work and take care of my family was unison.
