Has Lizz ever been on Oprah? If not, damn shame. I'm guessing that Oprah's sidekick (BFF Gayle) never whispered in Oprah's ear "you have to listen to this!" Lizz would have deserved such publicity.

A few people have mentioned this, but it bears repeating: This is not a cover of a Madonna song. It was written and originally recorded by Joe Henry on his terrific album "Scar." Madonna, his sister-in-law, retooled the song (with his blessing) as "Don't Tell Me." All three renditions have their merit, but check out Joe Henry if you don't know him.
