@paulfraughton, this set up looks like he is targeting the rectus abdominus (middle abs) and his external and internal obliques (the sides, since the external obliques partially cover the internal obliques) since there is a contraction you would use this for muscle spasm relief, muscle re-education or strengthening of a damaged muscle. Are you referring to lbp as low back pain, if so this does not help, but strengthening the abs will reduce pressure on the low back muscles!

It works but you just can't use these. Work out then use them so this pushes your muscles further when you're too tired to. USA

hey do you know if there is any substitution of internal oblique here? does it help your lbp? do your internal obliques activate also?
