  • FAIL. Everyone else has already ripped you on your 5/4, but now im going to rip you on your 6/8. they are not triplets. they are three eighth notes. one "beat" is a dotted quarter note. a common triplet is three notes per beat in a duple time signature... learn2music.

  • Am I the only one not understanding how to play jazz from these videos?

  • Genius!

  • its amazing. this guy is teaching jazz on the piano, but on his bio it talks about break dancing and how it is good to impress his friends. *FACEPALM*

  • I feel bad for this guy. I really don't think he means any harm...but do some theory work before you do videos like this. This is not good for beginners - it's misleading.

THATS WHY HE SUCKS ON THE PIANO!!!

  • oh jesus i wonder how many beginners people on "expert" village fuck over.

  • Dear God. I hope people don't actually pay you for lessons. That's like the blind leading the blind. You REALLY need to study some theory.

  • FAIL.

  • 5/4 timing for the win! That syncopation makes it seem just like 4/4 you know? I'm gonna have to try and replicate that!

Plus read his bio hahahaha. It talks about his passion for break dancing.
