@ThePfarrel2002 Because in most wrestling styles, the calf muscle is used, just not as much as the quads, abs, bi/tri-ceps, neck and intrinsic muscles. You normally use calves when you want to get a quick burst of speed forward (i.e. football, soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis, etc). Wrestling is 3-dimensional, not straight forward.

@harshasdf the announcer tells a 160 pound cadet to report, meaning whoever he is he isn't wrestling yet. I would guess these kids are about 125.
