He had 2 of the same card (2 Of Spades). At 0.48, he takes the ripped card from her with his right hand and he gives her a folded card with his left hand. He puts it in her hand quickly so she can't see it's still ripped.

one thing that i notice is that he took the torn card from her with his right hand and then handed it back to her with his lrft hand. different card maybe?

Or it's a Svengali Deck and he has about 26x 2 of Spades, in which he wouldn't mind ripping/bending one of them up...
You see him at about 0:06 look down at his cards to see how many he has. When he flips the cards over he finds a lower duplicate (and if you pay a lot of attention, he puts her card back in the middle but when he finds her card it's near the bottom. He doesn't pass the middle...maybe...
Or he forced it.
She also thinks he didn't touch it, when he did - she got owned.
