If you take a look at tigers swing back when he was winning all those majors, and around the time he published is book "Tiger Woods : How I Play Golf" You'll notice that he actually doesn't have the toe of the club pointed to the sky and the face is more or less "closed". SwingMan I'd say you've got it right with this one. Now if only we could get Tiger to take a look at what he's written. Maybe he'd start winning a tourney or two finally. Great video, keep'em comin'.

@silowhore Funny eh? It makes such logical sense...yet it's not very commonly taught because it's so outside-of-the-box of what falls under normal and "correct" mechanics.

@SwingManGolf tiger practices from sun up to sun down and will hit 1000 balls a day practicing one element of his swing alone, has won 14 majors and 71 pga wins, which is 3rd all time, and will probably win more. he has worked with people whom are considered some of the foremost experts in the field of golf instruction that have ever lived, and you're telling me he could fix his swing with this simple advice and he along with anyone else that instructs him has ever thought of it? not likely

@silowhore Whatever direction he goes he still will have to put in the time to get his myelin tracks worked out...but yes, in my experience both as a teacher and player, I absolutely think it would be a lot easier for him to hit straighter this way.
