This fire started from a lawn mower that back fired. It was fully involved upon arrival of the fire truck. other structures were prevented from burning.

  • the grass was very dry and a lawn mower set the grass on fire which made it to the higher weeds and grass and the shed.

  • Yes this is a volunteer fire dept.

  • @ffd177: I agree. I mean I'm not saying full PPE and pack, but I would have at least put on my bunker pants, gloves, and helmet

  • Brush fire,car fire,structure fire or any fire for that matter,firefighters wearing full ppe wont end up on a what not to do video in a training class some day where someone thought they were an iron firefighter and got all burnt up.Use your head cause anything could happen at anytime.I'm just saying!

  • Not really a very powerful garden hose on that fire truck!

  • I am not putting fire dept down but you really don't know what people put in there sheds
