  • cement board would be a better backing,especially on a exterior project.the particle board will suck in moisture and rot.letting the masonry crack/fall apart over time.

  • @redneckinMO --- yep, the osb just offers rigidity...the stone masons wrap these again with DUROCK before stacking the stone...
