Echo Beauty Salon/Aimee/Guilford, Ct
Miss Aimee at the Echo Salon, in Guilford, Ct., is certified in doing this treatment. She did a wonderful job. The price is pretty much determined by your hair length, I guess. It is a time consuming process with the flat ironing taking the most time. Eac h section of hair has to be ironed between 7-10 times. This is what locks in the treatment.
My hair is like silk. I assumed I would have to flat iron, but I don't, just blow drying makes it straight. I tried one morning to let it air dry. Not as straight, but straight enough for me. This is a wonderful treatment and I highly recommend it. I just hope that eventually the price comes down as more and more people will decide to do it themselves. Thank you Aimee!!

  • for anyone wanting to grow their eyelashes, I have several bottles of careprost, which is the generic for latisse, (no prescription necessary). email me if interested.

  • i'm thinking of getting it done soon if only i can track down a salon in rochester ny

  • I'm going to nc soon and I am going to treat my dil to this treatment. I will just use the phonebook and start calling local salons. Most of them are getting trained in it now. Good luck. You will be so happy.

  • That's great Sandy! I have hair like you do and I'd love to have straight hair.

BTW, love the tunes in the background! :)

  • aaaaaaaaah, I always forget about the background noise until I replay my video. These little cameras sure do pickup background stuff. Glad it made you smile.

  • Get the straight facts along with lovely, smooth hair! Without the proper ventilation cosmetologists may be over exposed to excessive levels of formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde, so they should invest in an efficient ventilation system. A "Chemical Source Capture System" removes these potentially harmful vapors from the breathing zone of both the stylist and client. Search "Chemical Source Capture System", "Hair Smoothing Controversy" or "Preferred BKT Ventilation" for additional information.
