"Inside the Cartomizer - Tips & Tricks" Video
This video explains how to get the most out of your cartomizers.

Most customers LOVE them for their increased capacity, better vapor, and lower cost (we like them, too). However, a few customers have reported problems getting the most out of them, having some that seem to have a hard draw and/or low vapor production, while others seem to work better.

Because we are very serious about customer service, we've worked closely with customers reporting issues. In some cases, we've had them ship back cartomizers they were having problems with, and tested in our lab (we are engineers by training, so we love to problem-solve :). In every case we've seen, we've had no problem using cartomizers customers thought were "bad".

So, we put together this video that goes into great detail to demonstrate how to get the most out of cartomizer. In case you're impatient, the video opens with a list / demonstration of 5 Tips & Tricks that will help you get the most out of your cartomizers. If you're a detail person, it then goes into great detail (think charts, drawings, and even ripped apart cartomizers in action) to show you the inner workings of both atomizers and cartomizers, so you can see the difference, and why the tips & tricks are important.

  • To Cokeencan12: There are several carto manufacturers with slightly different parts. If what you mean is that there are 2 rrubber things, one at the very end, and one further down inside the cart, you can take the inner one out for refilling, and either leave it out or not. I usually do leave it out. I believe it's there to keep the filler material from getting up over the hole the heating element is in. If filler completely closes the carto, draw will get hard.

  • thanks for the tip, btw, i have a cartomizer and it has rubber thing inside of it it's circle.. should i take it off or what?

  • i want to buy 2 how

  • @hooknhang1 Generally, yes. Once the burnt taste is there you can diminish it a little bit by boiling, but it remains.

weirdly, on some flavors of juice, the burnt taste actually augments, usually the ones that are tobacco-flavored. Not much, but the post-boil burnt taste adds more of a feeling of smoking.

if you have rubber-tipped 'refillable' cartomizers, I recommend taking off the end when you boil them.

there is one thing you can do, and that is remove the filler, and the wick, and direct drip on the atomizer. not recommended for daily use, but its great for testing flavors or a quick vape in a pinch. also be sure and keep the ecig at a 90 degree angle so as not to allow ejuice to drip down in your battery. hope that helps

  • beware pushing the button while bringing to your mouth. I had hot e juice 36 mg shoot right in my eye. yeah, I know. It may never have happened before, may never happen again, but beware. dont point the thing at your eye. Watch that muzzle and keep on vaping

  • I liked your tips, i am wondering is it best to just toss a cartomizer if you do get a burnt taste to it...
