I just finished modding this JMP 1959 Super lead from 1979 with a switchable #36/#34 sounds, respectively AFD and UYI Slash sounds. If you want the real AFD100 or UYI100 sounds. THIS IS IT!

That's all folks! \m/ \m/ \m/

ROCK ON !!!

  • i have a question, what value caps did you use for the treble peaking circuit on the volume pot for the preamp? 470pF? 500pF? 2200pF? im just curious because right now im using a 2200pF cap on my JVM which is modified like the #34

  • @thuglyfe91332 Just like #34 too ;)

  • @PuroMojo do you recommend the paradise vintage v100 or just the stock one and some tasty slash pickups >? and what guitar is that behind you it looks like a v100 iced tea or honeyburst but still please please please could you tell me i should have saved up enough money by january !! love your videos and you truly are amazing on that guitar !

  • @TheGutiargod I never played the Vintage Paradise, so I can say anything about it.

The guitar behind me, cherry sunburst, is my 1992 Gibson Les Paul standard.

    Thanks

  • Where do you get these many HEADS !!!!

  • @RocketQueenBand201 They are not all mine. This amp is from a client I modded it.. Send me a PM if you're interested. Thanks

  • @TheGutiargod i recomend the vintage v100afd paradise, and scrap all the electronics, cause to be honest its crap, put in cts pots, orange drop caps, and slash pickups

  • All your vids are kickin' brother!!! What mod's do I need to get a 80's Randy Rhoads/Doug Aldrich type of sound? I'm thinking of trading my JCM 900 Hi Gain Dual Reverb (still awaiting delivery) for a 1979 JMP exactly like Doug's favorite amp he bought in '81. Can I mod the 900 to sound anywhere near this '79 JMP 1959? I know where I can get a nice used 1959JMP Super Lead (small Marshall logo) dunno year? for $1,500.00 is that a pretty good deal? Many thanks

  • Hey man, that tone is absolutely killer! What are you recording with? I know you're using a Shure SM57, but what programme are you recording into? Cheers

  • awesome vid man,so crispy and clean i wish i could play like that!

  • Damn Dude! ya sure got that GNR thing DOWN.....nailed all the subtle nuances that 99.99% of the youtards miss on here......nice job. luv to hear that #39 doin some Lynch/Under Lock and Key (since they are rumored to be the same amp resp for both AFD and ULAK!)......

  • Sorry... is it the master volume version?

  • Hey puromojo is that jmp a 50 or a 100 watt? By the way amazing playing and tone!

  • I BEG U
