På Öland löper politikerna amok! Med skenargument som jobb, skolor, affärer och tankställen utförsäljes Ölands naturvärden till högstbjudande landroffare. Dom vackraste skogar utsätts för skövling och får ge plats till stugbyar, ofta byggda inom strandskyddet. Lokalbefolkningen förträngs från skog och strand, spökbyar uppstår! Snart skall politikerna i Borgholm avgöra Rällaskogens framtid. Ett paradis för ortsbefolkningen, en lunga på den skogsfattiga ön, en rekreationsort för ung som gammal, en oförstörd biotop med höga naturvärden, står inför sitt utplånande!

I had to look up Midas in Wikipedia and found also this:" Midas made a false decision between the Gods Pan and Apollon. He choose Pan and Apollon punished him by giving him ears like a donkey." Would be a good idea for the future election, don't you think? Stefan

Yes, that is another good idea.

But I thought about the story, that he whished everything would change to gold, if he touches it. And god dionysos fullfilled him this whish.

So first he was very happy, that all things he touched were gold, but when he was hungry, he could not eat the bread, because it was gold too.

This story fits together with the speech of the Cree.: when every tree is cut, and every fish is caught etc you will see, that you can't eat money.
