1973 Giro d'Italia

Directed by Jorgen Leth, who also directed Sunday in Hell and numerous other experimental documentaries.

Perhaps the most classic era, featuring Gimondi, Merckx, Ritter, Motta, Moser, and of course the "temperamental" climber Jose Manuel Fuente!

  • @peaksy888- Were all human. Just as they we're back then.

  • @funkyVibes They did, just differnet ones, mainly stimulants and pain killers

  • @stcywll they didn't use drugs on those days

  • The riders dont look as skiny as now days

  • Hey peaksy888 - a great observation by icystagg of a great race and the GREATEST cyclist of all time - and you're worried about a bit of grammer. Fuck me!!!

  • Fantastic

  • @c15688 they are not using 27" tires. They are using 700c tubular sew ups. a metric size just a tad smaller than 27'. The tires have a tube sewn into them and is glued onto the rim.
