Kimberly McCullough literally grew up on this show, as did Jonathan Jackson, and Genie Francis. GH doesn't do that anymore. Everyone was sad when Robin went away to college (Kimberly left the show) and everyone was crushed when Lucky "died" in that fire. (Jonathan Jackson left the show) . Having the actors grow up on the show really helps viewers care about those characters. (At least the ones that have watched them grow up)
