I said "sort of" because the game goes on after this (which is strange logic even for a game exclusively from Japan.).

  • how do you unlock the other "computer AI" characters? (the guy that bounces around at the top of your HUD) There are two spots for other ones and I've beaten every level and still dont have em!

  • @N3cr0n0mIV I think you're supposed to have gotten a double circle stamp on several levels and have collected several trading cards to get another one. The trading cards are either available in treasure chests in some of the levels, as well as in the two hidden shops you can unlock (denoted by a diamond shape on the game map). In the shops, you can buy candy bars for in-game points and get a trading card from them.

  • There is an American/European version of this game ?

  • Never was, unfortunately, although it's not nearly as good as the first two.

  • This vid is of Jumping Flash 3 hehe---although I agree with your assertion! I freaked like a little girl when JF2 was released on PSN!!! I never got to play it as a kid (played JF1 into the ground and beat it all the way through the day before JF2 hit PSN ironically enough) and i just beat JF2 this morn--it was AWESOME!!

  • A PS3 revival of the series would be great.. They should just call the new game JF!3 and get back to the game's roots.

  • Yes, but you really need to be able to understand Japanese to get the full experience. At least, that's what I've heard. I really want to learn Japanese to know what the characters are saying, but I haven't really gotten around to it yet.

  • do u understand japanese??? is the game playable for people who don't understand japanese.

  • By the way, was "Survived by a hare" an intended pun? :)

  • It's the hardest boss in the entire series. I was playing it on the mode that you get after the ending, which gives you a faster charging downward dash and an unlimited supply of firecrackers. Even so, however, it was still a little difficult, and I was not performing to the best of my abilities. It's A LOT more difficult on normal mode, where you can only hold one firecracker, and there's only one other one in the stage. I think I spent 3-6 months on this boss before I finally beat him.
