distinct -

3. clear to the senses or intellect; plain; unmistakable: The ship appeared as a distinct silhouette.
4. distinguishing or perceiving clearly: distinct vision.

i got the idea for my tattoo when i seen it on the singer lacey mosley from the band flyleaf.
i just loved the way it looked so i was like im getting that. its meaningful to her,
as it is for me in my own ways.
my tattoo represents the ability of change in people.
when you have the will there is knowledge.
i now know from lacey that people can gain knowledge.
not by necessarily going out of their way to understand you as a person
but as people in general.

my tattoo represents the struggles ive had to endure as a young kid.
i always felt out of place, that i didnt belong or deserve.
it was probably all the verbal bullying i endured.
maybe i hurt because i didnt know the questions!
me not knowing the questions made me think it was wrong to feel or be a certain way.
me not being like everyone els was wrong and out of place.
i always knew i was distinct.. everybody else was normal as i was made to believe.
i never knew that normal was a just an opinion.
i always believed it was what i had to be.
now that ive learned it still effects me because im still trying to learn how to love myself.
with that said,
ive never tryed to imagined what it would be like to love someone else.

my tattoo represents my creativity.
i was an amazing artist at a very young age,
i dont remember how old i was when i first started to draw.
ive never asked myself how i learned but now that i think about it,
i believe i was just born with that skill.. like some people just get math!
i mean it doesn't stick in my head so they're just born getting it.
going back to my struggles, knowing how to create!
allowed me to feel sane. i could be in my own existence.
i was at peace and no one could say anything to hurt.

now the some what obvious about what my tattoo represents.
