They are not correct. Many of the postings have about 300 aplicants. I have a BS in electrical engineering, I have not been able to get a job since 2010. My university and the VA have sent out thousands of resumes on my behlaf.
Some companies are also posting to look like they are equal opportunity, then they hire internally and remove the posting. All the engineers I know are having difficulty.
