@Cool2BCeltic I don't think that he would have shot himself. Even Himmler and Goering killed themselves only when there was absolutely no chance of getting away without punishment. Like so many other Nazis he would have tried to escape to South America, perhaps with the help of the Vatican, and to continue his career there.
like the rest of the scum

If nothing was ever done just so as to avoid murderous revenge against innocent people, then tyranny would triumph! The revenge exacted was the responsibility of the Germans, not that of those who opposed them.

Thank you for your efforts in posting this movie. Folks like you are a real blessing to those of us unable to afford Netflix...

@Cool2BCeltic In this context the killing of Heydrich, in his capacity as Reich's protector for Bohemia and the Sudetenland annulled the Munich Agreement = so made the political support of the exiled Czech gov't under Benes possible in light of Chamberlain's foolhardy signature with Herr Hitler.

A film that really raises the question how wise killing Heydrich was. Not knuckling under to the Nazis was one thing, doing things that would provoke them into taking murderous revenge on innocent people was another. Had he not been assassinated, the obscenity of Lidice would never have happened and Heydrich would probably have shot himself in 1945 rather than face the consequences or been tried at Nuremberg and without doubt have received a death sentence.

the russian had been acting like the nazi way before the word 'nazi' was invented - ever since the forming of the cheka in 1917
