Tank driving - 6 July 2008

I got a day's "tank driving" (strictly speaking off-road vehicles, an APC and a self-propelled gun, but who cares) at Galloway Tanks (www.gallowaytanks.co.uk) for my birthday. I'm slowly cutting together a more coherent video, but for now I'll just post the clips in their unedited form. Better is to come.

In this clip, I'm driving the Alvis Stalwart 6x6 fully-amphibious truck. This is near the end of the course, and you'll see me stop in the puddle to shift into first for the steep hill up to the parking area. Impressive noise-maker, isn't it?

@Xlife93 Yes they do float, and carry several tonnes of cargo while doing it, although many have had their gear needed for going amphibious removed.
