It's the first day of official Oktoberfest, so time for some delicious German food and bier. Today's menu: Dresdener Krautwickel und Thüringer Klöße.
Oh, don't forget the bier: Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest.
This one, like my new work schedule, is a LOT of work. Worth it? You bet.
@AndreR241 Hey, Andre's back from Sweden. Welcome back. Can't wait to see your trip videos.
I didn't know that this dish was popular in Sweden as well. But it makes sense. I've made a lot of Swedish food, and they love cabbage! Have you tried the HP beer?

Good stuff, Chris! My mom uses a slightly different recipe (she doesn't pre-roast the meat), but your's look great, too. I also ate this on my last trip to Sweden! Pretty good stuff, especially if it's cold outside. Totally warms you up!
Prost!

@Upeter2 I thought maybe you had had Polish halupkies. My brother's in-law grandmom's make 'em all the time for parties for them, so I hear about how good they are. I'm glad I found the German version though. They were hard to make but delicious. Let me know if you try 'em.
