So much truth to that. Yet. I walk for exercise with a black man. It's interesting how many stares we get, surprisingly most from black people. We get many comments through the grapevine from African-Americans about us too. I get called names like "pink-toes" and other things. We don't care, but it shows that racism cuts both ways. I was kind of astonished that black folks would be so concerned that a white lady was seen with a black man in this day and age. Peace, from Kansas City, Kansas.

I don't understand racism but I completely get being prejudice...racist is hatred based on skin prejudice is dislike based on stereotypes

@Jarethenator That's why I love Mississippi :P But most of the black people treat me like shit soooo what comes around goes around

i dont really understand racism in all honesty. i mean really? you think youre better than me because your skin is a different color? really? personally i dont care much for racism im not racist i have black friends, white friends, latino friends, arab friends, naive american friends, i even have a british friend if youre racist then you stay over there in your own little corner cause i dont wanna deal with you if ur racist then thts ur opinion not tht i agree w/it.

it's not that i assume most white ppl are racist. but you do look at them differently when you find out they got black friends. i knew this white girl from work, real professional type, and after i found out she was going out with a black dude i was like dayum sista.

@Jarethenator Can't send a wristband but you definitely have a thumbs up as visibly having black friends in a place like mississippi must be fraught with dangers for sure, and the sad thing is that for all the false rhetoric that things are changing, i feel that things are as bad now as they have ever been, people just convey there racist behaviours in far more subtle but sinister ways, in summary same crap just a different day. Thank god there are some really good white people out there. Peace.
Where do I send off for my WristBand? ;o)
