Moritaka is a talented woman.

I love Chisato!

I fell in love with her music after watching her do "17sai". I have a friend going to Japan next year and his mission is to scrounge the used music shops and get me as much of Ms. Moritaka's work as possible. Dag, she's good!

I do love the Mi-Ha.

Same here, but it's hard to sequence.
I have to say, though, it's not as bad as the first song on "Mi-Te," "Omoshiroi (Moritaka Connection)." One of the parts in the song has a very Madonna-like bass line.
I think this was supposedly during her "Janet Jackson" period, when she was trying to model herself after her.

I've only had the chance to listen to a number of her earlier singles, but judging from this song I want to hear the album this is from the most.
It's just... that bass...

"Mi-Te" seemed to be the most bass-heavy of her first albums. If you like, I could send you burnt copies of the Moritaka CDs I have. I've got "Mi-Ha," "Mi-te," "Peachberry" and her last CD, "This Summer Will Be More Better." "Mi-ha" and "Mi-Te" are my favorites.
