Vernon Newland Missionary Adventure part 3 of 12 - Travelling through Japan in the 30's

Part 3 of this Missionary adventure includes Vernon and Mona, my grandparents on a freight ship that they travelled on to go from California to Japan, and eventually China. I can't imagine travelling with a 6 month old baby by boat, but Delta Airlines wasn't up and running yet. Japan was an interesting place for them on that quick visit. The details in included come from letters that they wrote back to family and churches back in the United States. This was made for our Kingdom Kid Studios Jr. Church time at GCC.
