@LMCMInterloper Full bodied car. Wheldon hit the fence cockpit first, and I think also at a faster speed.

@LMCMInterloper Indy Cars are open cockpits, which makes the driver more vulnerable to impacts with the fence. Not to mention Dan was going 20-30mph faster than this crash. I'm pretty sure that Geoffrey didn't hit the fence roof-first either. He was definitely lucky to survive that crash though. RIP Dan
