they're pushing for Independence now because a Thatcherite Tory party are on course to be elected in Westminster and they remember the damage done last time. On Nick only being in since 2005, Cameron has only been in since 2001 and had no front bench experience before he became leader. Also they put Vince up because he is respected on Economic Affairs more than can be said for Osbourne

Much respect. I like your argument. I left the Democratic Party forever for the Green Party when NAFTA was signed. I really hope that you Brits can break thru the lesser of 2 evils game that we Americans have been enslaved to. yes I did watch, and as Nick's first comments were on Afghanistan, not europe so clearly you didn't. Also people are allowed different views on europe, and the Tory party is still split on it, as we saw when 2 Tory MEPs were arguing about it on the politics show around an hour ago.

The SNP are always pushing for Independance. That is the whole point of their party. Labour and Liberal Democrat support for devolution helped increase Scottish Nationalism.

I honestly think you aren't fully aware of the lunicy the Liberal Democrats would put us under if they were in Government.

Why do you think they big up Vince Cable so much?? He is the only qualified politician in their entire party! Nick Clegg has only been in Parliament since 2005!

If you are a Eurosceptic, then you are supporting completely the wrong party. The most Eurosceptic party out of the big 3 is the Conservative party! Did you even watch Nick Clegg's speech at Bournemouth?? He was licking Europe from the moment he started.

A Lib Dem Government would make us closer to European federalism than any other political party in Britain.

As for Scotland. It was the Conservative party which was against devolution! The Liberals would give them anything they wish.

Because as a Liberal Democrat supporter, you support full integration into the EU and thus the end to Britain's national identity.

Not only that! But a Liberal Democrat government would be so weak, it would allow the desolation of the Union between Britain and Scotland and thus the destruction of the United Kingdom as a whole!

That is why the British electorate don't vote Liberal Democrats.
