  • Great video and actually great music, but please leave the music at home or the car so that the normal radio chatter will come thru.

  • ya know, so many people have told me that. perhaps i should go back and redo the video. glad you liked the movie (minus the music).

  • Bravo! Good job.

  • glad you enjoyed it.

  • @sducey If it was me i would put my hand on the throttle as soon as i turn final...but i am just a beginner...it was a beautiful landing though...i am sure the commercial pilots waiting for t/o clearance would agree with me...

  • Thanks, if you notice my friend in the copilot seat was doing the landing and he did indeed have his hand on the throttle. Either way, I like this vid because it shows everything involved in an ifr flight. also, the archer is a much easier plane to fly than my current airplane - a Piper Twin Comanche. Glad you enjoyed the vid and the landing.

  • how many mins of acual IMC time did you log?

  • Beautiful!

I love the song, it matches! (It's from Jurassic Park, right?)

  • It is a good video, just one small point to nitpick KCRE is North Myrtle Beach airport in North Myrtle Beach, SOUTH Carolina. :-) That is a frequent $100 hamburger destination for me! YUM!

  • Nice cockpit!

  • Fantastic timing with the music. Good choice. It really takes knowing the drag of your airplane to slow down in time for landing on a high speed approach. I've done it before, but throwing the flaps in to slow down kind of puts a wrench in the works if it's not handled right.

Did you guys deploy flaps on that landing at all?

  • Good Show! One question; How did you record the intercom, did you just attach a wire to your camera?

    Happy Landings
