  • Amazing!! Everytime I hear this I love it more. Thanks for sharing!

  • Magic night of music for sure. Was lucky to so randomly stumble upon it (I was there to see Joe Pernice).

  • one of the best songs ever talked over

  • funny. Yeah, she talked the whole time.

I was actually there to see Joe Pernice and had never heard centro-matic ...

When they started, with this song I think, I just couldn't believe it. I was riveted and didn't lower my arms for an hour. Totally sore the next day. Wanted to get it all on film. So so good. I like their intimate moments like this much better than their indie/rock stuff ... although it's good too, just IMO not as spectacularly good as the winnowed down fare.

  • it would have served your arms and our ears a great service if you would have placed your camera in that chick's mouth :)

  • true that. the thought did cross my mind.

But she had some bootlegs I was interested in and so I remained as civil as possible.

(bootlegs were some live pernice stuff)

    :-)

  • Just came across this. Thanks for posting. And I agree totally. I'm convinced the only reason a guy like Will would have a full band that plays rocked out versions of his songs is to give his buddies a regular gig. Musically, he's much better by himself (the keyboard is nice here, but not necessary). Went to school in Denton and have seen him several times. Redo the Stacks is still one of my all time favorites.
