There are four 'light' options...

1. 'Sound to ligh't (strum your guitar or drum on the guitar's body & the LEDS light up)
2. LEDs Permanently on.
3. LEDs Rapid flash
4 Slow fade up & Down.

The circuit is on a very slim PCB which physically fits underneath the rear humbucker - so no extra space needed for a circuit board!

Also, I've used a small discreet tactile switch that sticks to the guitar's body via double sided foam (no drilling of the guitar necessary) to power on/off & change pattern etc. No other siwtching necessary (doesn't need a power switch etc...it's all self contained)

Totally standalone (doesn't wire into your guitar's wiring).

No clicks, pops or intereference from either the switching or the LEDs flashing.

Uses just 3 small AAA batteries.

Easy install (no guitar tech needed!)

  • you probably should have put an epilepsy warning

  • @TheCoolbeans81 A fair point (I've updated the description box)

  • man I NEED ONE...HELP ME

  • @FOR7YON3

The version I show in the video utilized a small micro (tactile) switch ...I don't do them enymore. Also the rapid flashing is you see in the video prone to interfering with the pickups (you get ticking in the background at the same rate as the flashing)...sio I've removed that pattern. I sell these on Ebay search for ...... guitar pickup leds

  • I make 'em...but they won't be available for a few more weeks yet (I'm tying up some loose ends on other projects). Keep an eye on Ebay in a few weeks (search for "guitar pickup leds")

  • you have a tutorial? This is so cool I want a green one for my seven string S

  • @Rhaabjorn No I haven't (making the associated PCB is too involved - SMD components!), but I can make one to order.
