Part Two comes in with a vengeance (be sure to see the trailer, part 1, and part 3)...more than twice the length of the first part, and featuring 4 of the most influential games of our time. Duke Nukem, Quake (1996), Quake 2 (1997), and Half Life (1998).

  • Wow cool. It's amazing how much improve came from Quake -> Quake II -> Half-Life. My only complaint is that the video just kind of ends, like it was still in the middle of showing Half-Life. Like there wasn't really a conclusion. But nothing too bad. Very well done video.

  • Year late in the reply, but better late than never. I see what you're saying about how the video ends, but so does the song...my intention was to end with an exclamation point of frustration at the ever elusive G-Man.

  • Check the credits at the end for songs and such, but the song you're looking for is "Super Moves" by Overseer.

  • What about QTF? Best online game ever to exist.

  • The focus was Quake itself, I used multiplayer shots that I already had (mostly DM and CTF). I know how popular Team Fortress was (and is), I just didn't have any footage for it.

  • По-моему, не хватает Unreal'а ...

  • alright. how about i list five games that come right to mind that should have been on this list. war of earth maybe, was still classified as a fps.-Chasm the rift was pretty popular. brglbrgbltrlgb freakin the ALIEN trilogy? and marathon 2, that game kicked some ass. -and finnaly FUCKING #@$%@%#@$ POWERSLAVE!

Its like you listed the most popular ones. instead of actually hitting all of them.

  • i never sed that duke nukem is the god among badasses, what i sead was he WAS the best badass until terminator came along. but still terminators better than indiana jones cuz he can shotgun blasts like candy and be ASPLODED in half and still go. jones has to rly on a little pansy whip which he uses to swing around like frikkin tarzan. if they were in a fight termie wuld win. PLZ DONT FLAME ME

  • yeah but Indiana Jones is the biggest badass to ever live. He survived nuclear dawn in a fridge.

  • duke nukem is arguably the biggest badass before terminator

  • And you left out System Shock 2...
