What keyboard do you have?

thanks for the help. Usually I can get this kind of stuff on my own but I don't have my keyboard with me to practice : (
Thanks again!

@GuitarHero016 I have a decent ear when it comes to hearing things, and I am pretty sure this is 100% accurate :) Godspeed on your worship coming up!

I really hope I can use this video. I'm sure it's fairly accurate. I'm on the worship team for youth group at my church and we got an opportunity to play in the main sanctuary. I was told to learn this riff so I'm kinda nervous but I got Jesus!!!! (and this video) ;) thanks a WHOLE lot man!

Careful about the G#/Ab issue there. The song is in A major (A B C# D E F# G# A) so Ab doesn't exist in A, but G# functions as the leading tone that leads into the key note A. It doesn't matter much to the ear because they are the same PITCH, but they are still two different NOTES.

Can you send me the video of you playing the actual song, the one that is in the video of you and the other people? It'd really help me and my youth group.

I have the video uploaded on a file hosting site but the video is kind of choppy/skippy. If you're okay with that, let me know and I'll send you the link in a youtube message.

sounds awesome...I'm trying to replicate this in Ableton Live, any tips? You have an mp3 of the loop? I want to pull it off this Sunday but really need the loop...thanks!

I'm not that familiar with Ableton but I know the tiniest bit about synths. So if you want to find a voice, I suggest something along the lines of a square synth. If you could do it with ableton, layer it with a distorted sound or filter and gradually increase it on top. Another idea that might work is have a distorted sound and adjust the LPF/Low Pass Filter. I don't know if any of these things are possible with ableton live though. Oh yeah and the song is at 121 BPM if that helps. Good luck.
