  • Wow. I can tell this is a well trained choir. Absolutely stunning. The tone flowed effortlessly throughout the piece. Nice contrasting dynamics too.

One thing: I would like the men in the group to match the warm quality of the women. It would enhance the sound and tone of the piece immensely. I have to say, you do have strong male singers, which is a rare find for high school.

    Excellent interpretation overall.

  • Beautiful....beautiful women's sound. The sopranos are truly gorgeous. Excellent all around

  • @Mateja170 They are all holding hands, their director is likely a graduate from St Olaf, which has arguably the best college choir in the country. They hold hands so that they can be connected physically as well as through their music. My choir director showed us this video today, hope that helps!

  • Ah man. Some great harmonies in here. Lovely sound :)

  • We sang this piece when my school went to San Diego Heritage Festival Competition in 2008. It was one that I enjoyed singing. Federal Way High School Eagles :)

  • I haven't heard this sung in years, and this choir is doing a spectacular job. I agree that the quality of the men does not match the women, but they blended in very well and did a tasteful job with the quality they had.

  • Yea this is a difficult piece...just not for you guys... Great Job!

  • Because our choir doesn't do that...and our hands would probably be too sweaty anyway. but seriously...the girls are and the guys aren't. What's with that?

  • i love this song this choir sounds amazing. awesome dynamics

  • oh i sang this my junior year of high shcool, i loved it!!!!
