this enters religion and stuff, the island is this place that god create which contain the pure and bare good that each person in the world has within and "jacob" is the protector of this light of good, MIB is like the "reincarnation of evil" and he is trying to shut down this light therefore ending with all good in the world, the island is the place that is stoping the evil from spreanding to the world, but LOST was not about the island, was about people and how they relate in order to move on

No, it explained why the island was there in the most vague way possible. I want to know the REAL reasons why all of those things happened.

Saying that jacob is just some being that protects an island does NOT explain who jacob is.

ive watched every single episode THREE times on sidereel(.)com

And i can easily tell you that it was a HUGE let down.

It didn't explain what the island was, who jacob was, or anything like that.

Just a light in the middle of the island that can't go out.....

I mean come on.....

@andrewm153351 Actually, it explained what it needed to......have you watched every episode or just jumped in at a random point? We can all agree that certain things were not explained but those are left to make us speculate. As for calling it "biggest let down of the century", well..i can only assume that your either really young or not very smart.
